Ellie landed safely at the foot of a hill, the soil and the scant vegetation covered in a heavy frost- nearly a half kilometer from Point Borrow, Alaska. She cut the cords from her parachute and dropped the knapsack onto the ground, abandoning it hastily in some dead brush that ensnared a large rock along an old dirt road. Ellie's new arctic suit blended in with the landscape, she noticed. The thought that she looked like a government stooge just occurred to her, hoping that it wouldn't jeopardize the mission with locals.

An uneventful dash to the nearby port town of Borrow got Ellie thinking about the plan. She never once was told what her contact looked like, who they were, or even exactly where they would meet her. Perhaps she had to look for another government stooge. Upon entering the town, all that Ellie could see were shacks, shanties, a few people dressed in parkas- natives of Alaska no-doubt for the most of them. Flying over Alaska by plane, Ellie thought that the landscape was the most beautiful she had ever seen, but Point Borrow was a different world, she had wondered if it had always been this way.

Ellie acted normal as soon as she hit the main drag on the road. She stuck out like a sore thumb with her arctic suit, sort of a white BDU-style uniform with a hooded vest over it of the same colors and pattern- not to mention a holstered pistol on her belt. That wasn't suspicious at all.

Across from a fish market stood a wooden pier. At the end of the pier stood someone in the same type of uniform and vest. This had to be Ellie's contact. Just in case it was a trick, Andrew prepared her with a question to confirm it was her contact. Approaching her contact whom carried a huge box-shaped case, Ellie got a good look at her and kept her right hand over her holster. Her contact stood facing to the east, Ellie was walking north up the pier cautiously until her contact looked at her and turned to face her.

The contact was a Light- she was too big to be a Human and didn't look Human at all.

"You can't be here!" Ellie called out her code-question to her contact.

"Who do you think I am? A British secret agent, or something?! Enough of this damned code-talk already!" Her contact growled back.

Ellie lightened up a little, she had answered the question as Andrew said that she would.

"You have the rockets in your ruck sack- I'm gonna need them if we are to blow the ships." Asked the contact.

"You're a Light, I didn't know that we had one on our side." Ellie replied.

"Dammit Valentine, we haven't got time to waste around! Hand me the rockets!" Demanded the contact.

"Who are you, I know you're here on a mission from the Light Kingdom! You look just like one of the Queen's Hunters!"

"No, not a Light Hunter!" Ellie's contact answered. "Sleeper!"

"Sleeper!?" Ellie repeated, shocked at the response.

"Now hand me the damned rockets before I throw you into the arctic water!"

Ellie did just that, handing two rockets over to her contact that were in her ruck sack. The Light woman opened her case and withdrew an outdated Type 91 from it and then she proceeded to take out the two carriers that were anchored at port several hundred yards away from where they were standing. The first rocket hit the starboard of the carrier that was furthest from them. As it sank, people exited the ship, the cargo of arms and supplies vanishing into Beaufort Sea. The second carrier went down just seconds after.

"That takes care of that." Said the contact.

While Ellie and her contact watched the last vessel sink to ensure that none of the cargo made it off onto land, a helicopter approached the area. Ellie looked to the south where she saw a grey Griffon helicopter approaching their positions- no doubt the sinking of the two carriers spurred trouble. Ellie only had her pistol and was not ready to take out a helicopter if this was their problem now. Her hopes rested on her mysterious contact.

"Friends of yours?" Asked Ellie.

"I have no friends, kid."

They waited for the helicopter to get close, instead of shooting at them it hovered over the pier in front of them, then it turned to face the east. A rope was lowered to the pier, Ellie recognized the person that was lowered to the pier. It was none other than Pyyrn, who upon landing on her feet stepped closer to the two. Ellie withdrew her Beretta, aiming at Pyyrn's chest.

"I should smite you both, killing you right were you stand." Pyyrn announced to them.

"She is not on our side, she murdered Secretary of War Stanton right in front of my own eyes." Ellie said to her contact.

"I wouldn't move an inch." Ellies contact called out to Pyyrn whom had her brier whip coiled in her hands now, ready to strike. "That whip will do you know good here."

Pyyrn looked up to the helicopter, she waved her hands motioning for the captain to fly away and leave them. She waited for the helicopter to fly off before engaging in any further talks.

"What will it be Ellie? You first? Or the Light?" Asked Pyyrn in her slithering vile voice.

"You think that you can kill me, sister?" Asked the contact.

"Sister? I have not a single clue as to whom you are." Pyyrn responsed.

"Don't say that you've forgotten me already- Sleeper!" The contact retorted, lowering her fur-lined hood from her vest, revealing long blonde hair.

"Sleeper? I'm the only remaining Sleeper alive, imposter." Pyyrn answered.

Pyyrn unraveled her brier whip, then she lashed it, hurling the barbed end of it at Ellie's contact. To everyone's surprise, she caught it in the air. Pyyrn's expression was that of shock.

"Sister Sleeper, I am a whole different game from Opal!" She said. "I am Iridius! The last Sleeper ever created!"

Ellie saw in Pyyrn's face, that she had just met her match- if not worse.
Pyyrn was the premier badass until we met Iridius.

"With Secretary Stanton dead, the high brass in the military about want my neck." Said Andrew. "If what you and Jodak are telling me is true, then we have got to remove this Pyyrn woman from the picture."
"I can't take her on myself. I'm going to need a gun, a good gun." Ellie responded to him.
Andrew sat with Ellie in the cargo hold of the jet that was taking them to Alaska. She shivered from the colder temperature, the jet didn't have a heater for the hold. Andrew was fiddling with a map of Point Borrow that his superiors gave him, it was rather outdated and rather unreliable by his estimation but it was all that he had available.
"These damned maps! What is this, 1964!!??" He angrily muttered under his breath.
"Have you never been to this part of Alaska, sir?" Asked Ellie.
"Alaska is huge, about the size of Emeruss back on Xendra- no I have not." Andrew replied. "Here we go. You are going to insert near the former native lands in Borrow, the point an arctic shipping hub. One of our

Odyssey Earth Part 11: A Blind PawnIridius pulled on Pyyrn's brier whip, thrusting her towards the two. As Ellie watched Pyyrn fly into Iridius's personal area, she was amazed at how quickly Iridius withdrew a weapon of her own. A long blue metal rod that was tightly gripped by her right hand had shown itself to the world, lighting up in a bright cyan-blue with a dull glow. Ellie recognized it as a prototype Light beam, a rod that housed pure energy that could convulse in electrical flares. The beam came hammering down onto Pyyrn's left shoulder when she was about to crash into Iridius, causing an explosion of white sparks, and the sound of what can only be described as electricity crackling like shattering glass to overtake the moment. Intense levels of electricity was sent through Pyyrn's muscular body, causing her to shake uncontrollably. Iridius waited a moment for Pyyrn to try to stand up straight, then she punched Pyyrn square in the face, sending her to the floor of the pier unconscious.

At first, I thought it was Opal. Then I realized that it was someone that I could legibly root for.
