The temple of Ygin, the god of life awaited Peli's return. When she arrived at its steps, all was quiet as had normally been. The Light walked up the steps to the chamber of the god once again, returning not in triumph, but instead in a lesson that had been learned. Peli did not return to Ygin for glory, for reward, for victory, or for praise. Her return was all about her final lesson from the god that brought her life- just as he had done with every other Light that she knew. So goes the story at least.

"God of life, I have returned to you with a learned story!" She called up to the statue of Ygin as she got to her knees before it. "I thank you and my other gods for allowing me to make the final journey!"

A menacing quake overwhelmed the chamber, the whole temple in fact. some of the stonework that had begun to crack within the chamber let out streams of dust, the cracks themselves taking a more pronounced form. Ygin's voice was heard once again to address Peli who bowed before him with humility.

"You have learned, Peli Vallus." He told her. "But what have you learned?" He asked.

Peli rose to her feet, looking up at Ygin's unassuming face among the statue. With utmost sincerity, she responded to him with an educated candor.

"God of life, it is with my humble nature that I address dearly to you and to my fellow Lights that I Peli Vallus have learned that we as a race still have yet to be reborn from the ashes that we ourselves caused so many centuries ago!" Peli called back to him. "I have witnessed the grace of my deities, and I have heard their discourse on my character! I shall no longer pursue greatness, but if it shall come to me, then I will hold greatness in the eyes of my deities! I will lead with a most humble character!"

Peli's response had pleased Ygin.

"Peli Vallus, daughter of a great and wise noble who himself was once resurrected!" Ygin began. "You have faced the trials of my brothers and my sisters, yet you only met us senior siblings!" He added. "Why did you return to my temple?" He demanded.

"God of life, I have returned to earn your blessing, and your siblings' blessings after I have faced my final trial!" Peli replied.

There was no response from the god of life. Peli heard the sound of someone ascending the landing of the front steps of the palace. She turned around, there was someone standing at the entrance to the chamber, but the light from the outside was so great that she could not make out the person. As the person approached Peli, she could see that it was her Queen. Ixora Androy stopped within two feet from Peli, looking down at her with a concerned expression.

"This is my final trial? My spiritual test?" Peli asked.

Ixora did not speak, Ygin did however respond to Peli.

"Peli Vallus, speak to your Queen!" He commanded.

"Your majesty..." Peli started with a quite and tamed tone. "Why did you come here?"

Ixora placed her hand on Peli's left shoulder, she leaned in to her a little and she replied bluntly. "You have been gone for almost a year, little Peli. I was worried about you, and I came by lonesome to see if I could find you."

"Almost a year?" Peli repeated inquisitively.

"Peli Vallus! You have in fact been missing from your Kingdom for nearly one year! It is now harvest season!" Ygin confrimed. "Your spiritual journey has ended!" He commanded.

"Ended? But what about my spiritual trial?!" Peli asked.

"Your spiritual trial has been your life story, Peli Vallus!" The god replied. "You have been redeemed by your journey. You must command wisely, and now you face a new trial- you will bear the title of resurrection and uphold its honor!" Ygin paused for a moment, then spoke again. "Resurrect, and return to your Kingdom, Peli Vallus!"

"I am resurrected." Peli mumbled, then she called out- stating to the world: "I am Peli Vallus, and I have been resurrected!"

The Queen stood before her, proud and humbled at the witnessing of a resurrection. Few Lights ever have been resurrected, and monarchs are not allowed to be resurrected. She envied this title, but it was not just a title or an honor, it was a lifestyle. Peli now was to the Lights what a Saint may be to a Human, only that she was allowed to carry out judgement.

Peli had resurrected, but the gods were not finished yet.
The gods are not finished yet...

Peli arrived at the temple of Ikyr, it was in the center of an old civilization center. The vegetation had completely overtaken the ancient structures. This old ruination was so full of life from nature, yet the god of everything but had ruled the roost from the temple that lie within. Standing in front of the temple was an unexpected sight- a friend of Peli's. In fact he was a Human. His name was Russell Punnetine, he too was blessed by a higher power then his own.
Peli didn't care how he was able to stand before her, she just knew that somehow the deities wanted her to see him. She approached him.
"Life as we know it is all so precious, Peli." Russell began. "At any moment, it can end- just as your journey can end."
"The god of death awaits me, Russell." Peli responded quietly.
"Do you fear him?" Asked Russell.
Unsure, Peli answered him. "I do not feel as though I do." She said.
"Your odyssey is not one of character, Peli. Only if you are genuine in spirit and strong can you leave th

Resurrect Part 9
The Light queen stopped dead in her tracks while she was leaving the chamber with Peli whom had just resurrected. Peli stopped alongside her, she saw the eyes of her Queen, their pupils dilated and the irises turning colorless as if her life was draining from her. Peli worried, she grabbed her majesty's right arm and inquired of her.
"My queen, you look ill, are you not well?" She asked.
"I have regrets." Was all that Ixora replied with, seeming on the brink of melancholy so suddenly.
Queen Ixora dropped to the floor, her breathing slowed, prompting Peli to tend to her, attempting to bring her back to her feet. While Ixora only showed signs of illness, the reality of it was that the gods were communicating with her through a strong telepathy.
Then the god of life spoke through the chamber once again.
"Rise from your ashes, daughter of the noble! Judge your beloved leader and administer your resurrection unto her!" The god of life commanded Peli.
Peli's mind was free-thinking as usual,
