The Dare That Will Scare

Oh boy. So much to say; goal was to have it done before November 1, but the one freaking night that people I haven't seen in what seems like forever decided to come out of the wood work, and not for Halloween related matters either, had to be this one. So, I had to end it where I had it really, because the deadline passed and I don't like being late.

CHARACTERS:

Ivanora (been a while since we've seen her last), Hinoshi (guest OC of ), and Nana (who is really just here to wave at us all, because that is what she likes doing)

SETTING:

Hallows Eve in Knoxbus, right outside of the unoccupied mansion of a once-famous colonel.

STORY:

Having recently arrived at the colony of Xendra, Hinoshi takes it upon herself to explore a little bit to take in the sites and meet new people. Some of the new people that she meets however, are not exactly fearful of much. On Hallows Eve, they set out to the once inhabited Heritage Manor, where Col. Donald used to reside. Now all that resides there are the ghosts and spirits of those whom seek refuge in the afterlife. Willing to test out their new Human companion, Ivanora dares Hinoshi to go to the mansion. Naturally, seeing glowing apparitions over by the mansion, she is hesitant, and begins to think twice about her visit...

Will she go?

What about the others? What will they do? Play a silly prank on her?

A couple of months ago I worked with :userTheTitanofGeek: on a poem that would serve as a sort of starting point for this picture. It's too bad that last two months have been so exhausting, otherwise the picture may have been totally different!

When you see no light, and you hear the fright,
there's an eerie sense of doom and plight
all the ghouls come out to play,
some begin to swing and sway,
hurry home, or forever feel our spite.

If you think it's safe to roam around,
and you really are not safe and sound,

makes your nerves stretch far and tight,
then you'll meet Album Virgo,
and begin to shriek and go,

Some will smile, and some will laugh,
but for most it'll be their last.
Dangerous wonders you'll meet,
so paltry and beneath our feet.
